General Information 

We will be hosting the Sunday Couples League on the last Sunday of every month running from May-September. This will be played between both The Pines and The Preserve with this being a 2:00PM shotgun playing 18-holes. There will be an email invitation sent out 14 days prior to that given months round where you will be able to sign you and your significant other up, pairings will come out the day before the round. Each month you will be paired at random with another couple in the GVL membership and you will play a modified couple’s net best ball as a 4-person team. The game will be both couples playing a net best ball with each other and the team will take each of those scores to combine them for a total team score in the foursome. Prizes for this will be flighted so everyone has a chance at winning! The prizes will range from merchandise and gift cards from our pro shops, gifts from other Grand View Lodge outlets and businesses in the area etc. There will also be at minimum 4 proxy markers out each round. A GHIN handicap will be needed to play so if you did not get one with your membership, please reach out to eric.martin@grandviewlodge.com and he will get you set up with one.

Golf Genius 

We will be running this league through the Golf Genius Software where you will be able to sign up for rounds like talked about before and use electronic scoring. This is an app is an orange icon with a golf ball and tee logo. For people who may not be as familiar with the app our golf professionals will always be available to help. If you have any questions regarding Golf Genius, you can email eric.martin@grandviewlodge.com. 

Entry Fee 

There will be a monthly entry fee of $40 per couple that can either be paid in cash or can be charged to your member account. This entry fee will grant you eligibility for prizes and will get you a meal and a drink provided after the round. These meals will be of a special variety made by our outstanding food and beverage team and they will be advertised in the invitation for that given month’s round. 

Guests 

You are allowed to bring one other couple two times throughout the year to play in these rounds. To do this you will need to email eric.martin@grandvewlodge.com at least 48 hours in advance. If you would like to play with them, please clarify in your email that you would like to do so. These guests will pay the full member guest rate after 2:00PM along with the entry fee of $40.
